After receiving my Ph.D. from Cornell University, I joined FDA, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition as a as a staff fellow.  I transferred to the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Office of New Animal Drugs, and Division of Manufacturing Technologies in 1998. I was called to Active Duty as Assistant Regulatory Review Officer (Scientist Category), August 1998. Thereafter, I was promoted to Regulatory Review Officer in 1999. Transferred to CVM, Office of Surveillance and Compliance (OS&C), and Division of Epidemiology in 2002. I was assimilated in 2003, and obtained a MPH from Johns Hopkins University in 2003. In 2004, I was promoted to Senior Regulatory Review Officer.  Also in 2004, I returned to the Office of New Animal Drugs, Division of Manufacturing Technologies and obtained an O-6 billet.
