LCDR Diem-Kieu Ngo graduated from the University of Maryland where she received a B.S. in Neurobiology & Physiology.  From there, she went on to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where she received a B.S. in Pharmacy and Doctorate of Pharmacy.  Upon graduation from pharmacy school, LCDR Ngo joined the U.S. Air Force.  While stationed at Andrews AFB, LCDR Ngo coordinated the P&T Committee and DUE Committee, ran an outpatient Anticoagulation Clinic, organized staff training, prepared the pharmacy and nursing staff for hospital inspections, and served as the hospital’s Chief of Clinical Pharmacy.  In 2005, LCDR Ngo transferred to the U.S. Public Health Service and worked as a Senior Regulatory Management Officer in the FDA’s Office of Generic Drugs, reviewing bioequivalence studies.  LCDR Ngo currently works as a Program Management Officer in the FDA’s Office of Executive Programs, serving as the Designated Federal Official for two advisory committees. 

LCDR Ngo served as the DC-COA Treasurer from 2006 – 2007 and has served as a Science Fair judge for Prince George’s County twice.  LCDR Ngo is the current Chair of the Junior Officer Advisory Group (JOAG).  Additionally, LCDR Ngo is involved in the Pharmacy Professional Advisory Committee’s (PharmPAC) Public Health Work Group.
