Description of the Committee

The purpose of the Merchandise committee is to promote PHS visibility and pride through the sale or donation of commemorative items at USPHS events, particularly DC COA sponsored events and to manage the operation of the Uniform Store. 

• To design, produce, and purchase commemorative USPHS items for sale and donation in an effort to increase USPHS visibility and demonstrate USPHS pride.
• To serve USPHS officers by providing used uniforms at a reasonable price and to support local charitable organizations and activities in the DC metropolitan area by donating funds generated from used uniform sales.
