Awards

The DCCOA awards committee is responsible for officer recognition for involvement in branch activities and events.

Career Development and Education

The Career Development and Education Committee organizes training sessions to benefit the professional development of DC COA members. Trainings are carefully selected to reflect the interest and needs of DC COA officers. .

Communications

The DCCOA membership committee is responsible for all forms of communications put out by the branch including newsletters, website content, and emails.

Community Outreach

The DCCOA community outreach committee is focused on participation in numerous worthwhile activities in the DC area.

Finance

The DCCOA finance committee is responsible for spending and tracking of branch funds for activities and events.

Member Outreach

The DCCOA membership committee seeks to maximize the membership of officers in the DC area.

Merchandise

The DCCOA Merchandise committee is responsible for producing merchandise to boost officer pride and morale.

Policy and Procedures

The DC COA Policies and Procedures Committee is responsible for drafting and updating the DC COA Branch Bylaws, SOP and any other relevant policies and procedures..

Recreation and Networking

The DCCOA recreation and networking committee brings officers together for a variety of special events throughout the year.
