2024 Virtual Surgeon General’s 5k Run
Description: The 2024 Surgeon General’s 5k run will take place in Jacksonville, FL during the COF Scientific & Training Symposium. Don’t worry, if you are not able to make the in-person SG5k, please join us for the Virtual Surgeon General’s 5k run to be hosted on June 23-29, 2024. Invite your PHS colleagues, family, and friends. Proudly wear your best PHS spirit gear or your PTU (physical training uniform) and take a nice group photo with the option of a PHS flag.Â
Please do not wear any PHS uniform components), except when following the guidelines for appropriate wear of the uniform. Â
To verify your participation, provide a photo of yourself (in action or post-activity) and/or an image displaying your fitness activity tracker. Send both event leaders all of your/group's info no later than Tuesday, July 2nd (Name, Rank, Serno#, Category, Agency, COA Branch you are representing, and your best contact email). If your pictures do include civilians and/or minor children, please submit a completed PHS Photo Release Consent form. The event leaders can provide you one upon request.
